Another weekend in Door County

Spent the morning at Hands On Art Studio making a gift for Grandma and Grandpa's wedding anniversary. Bring on the brushes A masterpiece in the making The babes had had enough with the art project so Brian took them outside to check out the animals. Mere was so tiny compared to the horses but it didn't stop her from growling at them. Happy girl Adam was off "exploring" with Grandma so we took the babes for a walk on the trails. Ian was quiet for a few minutes and I found him giving the rocking horse a check up. Future Veterinarian

Mere is finally allowing me to put hair accessories in her hair to help with the mullet issue. Warning: do not attempt removing the clip! She does not want anyone to touch her hair once her pretty bows are in place. She's such a girl.

Hiking at Pike Lake

Our first family hike without taking a stroller. The kids did great. Mere and Ian even stayed on the trail. A little blurry but it's the best we could do. Mere didn't want to stop for pictures..... ....she scooted her little self off the bench and wanted to keep going. Good catch Mom! Running for the beach

Sound asleep

I found my sweet boy sleeping all stretched out this morning. This is a quick photo of him even AFTER I tickled his belly. He was sound asleep and took a couple of minutes to wake up. I guess he's catching up on some sleep from our visit with Grandma and Grandpa this weekend.

Door County YMCA Duathlon

Brian braved the cold and windy weather for a duathlon on Saturday. First was a 2 mile run... ...followed by a 12 mile bike ...and finishing with another 2 mile run He ended up finishing in 3rd place for his age group and 17th place overall! Congratulations Dad!! We are so proud of you.
