A fun trip to Port Washington

We started out at the park and then took a walk on the beach. A very hot day in Port with ice cold water in the lake. Throwing rocks Adam and his "Fish stick".....gross! Had a great lunch and ice cream treats at the Dockside Deli Finished our trip with a walk along the harbor and watching the boats.

Washington County Fair

Well, it's confirmed....we are not Fair folk. The combination of a hot sticky day, sweating and being tired is not a good mix to walk through stinky barns. The morning ended with Adam having a complete meltdown. We are done with the Fair for the year. Bubbler break Checking out the baby chicks We did find a fun kid thing to do. They had an area called "Be a Farmer for a day". They had to go around and collect sunflower seeds, an apple, vegetables, milk a cow, etc. At the end, they sold their items back to the Farmer's Market for a prize. Big fun! The start of the heat wave.....

I found these "no drip" holders for the twins for either ice cream cones or popsicles. Mere was loving it. Ian still found a way to get very messy. Using the new water shooters. So messy! The only clean thing is the holder itself.

Fourth of July Weekend

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Today is Dad's Birthday but unfortunately the kids won't see him until tomorrow. Poor Dad has been so busy at work this week. The kids have not played with Dad since Monday. He'll return from his work trip from Atlanta late tonight and we'll celebrate his Birthday all weekend. We love you Dad!

Adam was so excited to get a new two wheel scooter for his Birthday. The Babes quickly claimed Adam's old three wheel scooter. MINE! No, MINE!

A special trip to the Zoo

Today is Adam's 5th Birthday and we started the celebration at the Zoo. Kicking it off with a train ride. Choo Choo! It must be his Birthday because he also got a pony ride, an ice cream treat and even a souvenir from the gift shop. Giddy up! Babes getting in on the fun.
